In case you can't tell, these bars are stiff... I'm talking stiff, chatter your teeth out of your skull stiff! But if you are like me, that is a good thing. I have them on a Stumpjumper Evo right now and they provide amazing control and feedback. It took me about a week to get used to them, but now I can't go back. I really appreciate the pinpoint control and precise feedback they offer, but realize they may not be for everyone because of this. Having said that, if you are looking for a bar that is light enough for an XC rig, but durable and precise enough for high speed descents aboard an Enduro or DH bike look no further. These bars are the cat's pajamas!
Lightweight
Durable
Comfortable sweep / rise
I have typically been less than trusting of carbon bars given some of my prior experiences with lack of durability in crashes. The SixC has changed my mind. RaceFace has done a great job of creating a bar with a great balance of stiffness and vibration damping that is comfortable on all day rides, but still strong enough to go balls out in the bike park. I have not been too kind to my SixC bars and they have shrugged off crashes, botched landings and other rowdiness without flinching.

Post a reply to: A carbon bar worth trusting your teeth with
These were the very first carbon product I had ever used and was a little bit weary at first as most new to carbon people are. I have had them several years now and they have held up great with only a minor scuff in the carbon. They are lighter then aluminum bars and one of the good properties of carbon and the way these are designed it that they help absorb vibrations that can lead to arm pump quicker.
RaceFace also has a great sweep to their bars that fits me naturally that I do not have to think about while riding. I have thrown these bars on 2 different bikes and will keep them going as long as I can. I would definitely buy another one in the future when the life of these are over.
