What size is the shock?? I'm trying to do the same setup but they don't make the trunnion mount in the correct size.

This is a 210mm X 55mm standard eyelet shock. There’s pin mount hardware kits you’ll need to source, available through your Trek dealer. Holler if you need the part numbers and I’ll try to track down what was ordered specific to the Fuel EX.

Thank you so much! I'm running a ton of air in mine right now and I don't love the way it feels. Bike is great otherwise, can't wait to see how this new shock feels.

So you have no issues with frame contact!?
How about the water bottle holder? I have a Fidlock and it seems that it would hit the shock. But I can get rid of that.
I want that Float X!!!!

No contact on mine so it shouldn’t be an issue on your L.
The cage is a WTC Morse (Ti, not that it matters). The position of the cage on the frame mounts is highly adjustable so I was able to find the perfect spot for clearance around the shock, as well as the toptube.

I have the Float X on my Fuel EX size L and no issues with frame contact! I moved my bottle cage up a little bit on the mounting bolts and no issues there either! Feels so much better than the stock shock too!

Same - Float X fit great on my 2020 FEX. Looks sweet! Jealous of the upgrade to Magura from Shimano. Never quite satisfied with mine..

Awesome bike, probably one of the best Fuel's I have ever seen.

I cant wait to see new Fuel ex for 2023, it will be the bomb!
