The elite men and women wrapped up a big day of racing in Leogang as they once again went on the clock in the semi-finals to set the field for tomorrow's finals. Loic Bruni continues to ride his wave of form and will once again be the last man to leave the start hut tomorrow. Team mate Finn Iles ran wide of a course marker and called it a day, knowing that he's protected for the finals by virtue of his current position in the overall anyway. Luca is on pace as is Troy, no surprise there, and the Irish continue to feature prominently as well - they need to find some more time for finals as do Loris and Dak. Look out for Amaury who is sneakily making his way back up the leaderboard after returning this season following a lengthy injury break. The gaps are small and we have little doubt that tomorrow will serve up a scintillating race as always seems to be the case here in Leogang.
In the Elite Women's category, Vali Holl continued right where she left off in qualifying, shaving another 2 seconds off her fastest qualifier to take the semi-final win as well. Anna Newkirk is hot on her heels though after improving on her qualifying time by a massive 8 seconds. Shoutout to Myriam Nicole who is back in the finals for the first time since her return from injury.
