Red Bull Hardline Qualifying Results and Practice Video

Saturday 1st June, 2024 - Ronan Dunne, Red Bull’s newest addition to its MTB athlete roster is in the lead after the qualifying run at this weekend’s Red Bull Hardline, with a trailblazing time of 2:27.402. Famed as the world’s toughest downhill MTB course, 28 riders fought the track as Red Bull Hardline Tasmania champion Ronan Dunne went head-to-head with 3-time winner Bernard Kerr. Clinching defeat over Kerr by a whopping 2.5 seconds, Dunne was awarded his Red Bull helmet two days prior, giving him the determination and vigour to clinch qualifying victory. Taking third in qualifying was Colombian star Juanfer Monoz, who combined style with speed, throwing an epic no hander over the iconic road gap. World Champion Charlie Hatton cruised home in 4th place with New Zealand’s George Brannigan rounding out the top 5.

A special mention goes to Matteo Iniguez who was on for a quick time before a fall on the lower technical section. Despite that mishap he still qualified comfortably within the top 10 and is eager to correct his error come finals tomorrow (live on Red Bull TV June 2 at 6h20am PDT, 15h20 CET).
