Designed to strike the perfect balance of lightweight efficiency and technical precision, the Element is the best of all worlds. Lighter than ever and with updated suspension kinematics, get ready to push the pace and drop the pack. Geometry and suspension that challenges the boundaries of modern cross-country riding, translates to total confidence on technical terrain and high speed singletrack.
"The Element is my go-to bike and I can't stop riding it. It's light and snappy on the trail and loves to be flicked through the corners. It's playful and poppy making smooth trails fun, yet still able to hit well above its weight class when it comes to technical trail. The flex stays make the bike simpler, lighter, stiffer, and more responsive. The engineers knocked it out of the park with this one. It makes me want to explore further and is my bike of a choice for 90% of the riding I do." - Sam Schultz, Rocky Mountain athlete
Smoothlink SL Flex Pivot
Not your average pivot design.
A new addition to the Element is the introduction of the Smoothlink SL flex stay. By eliminating the traditional pivot, we’re not only able to shave weight but also increase stiffness in the rear triangle. Lighter and more refined, expect that similar supreme ride quality of our traditional Smoothlink design that puts the Element ahead of its competitors.
What Sets the Element Apart
Faster than the rest: Progressive geometry keeps us ahead of the pack with long, low, and slack angles that confidently tackle any surprises along the way.
Lighter than ever before: We tuned the frame design with an all-new carbon layup and flex stay suspension design to save over 350g in weight. Meanwhile we increased frame stiffness in key areas to improve performance when on the gas.
Size-specific tune: Tuned for small-bump compliance, mid-stroke support, and end stroke progressiveness. The Element features custom shock tunes based on real world field testing.
RIDE-4 adjustment system: Allows riders to quickly fine-tune their geometry with a single Allen key. Four configurations are possible thanks to one rotating chip on each side.
Increased service life: Upgraded dual-row, high-capacity bearings at the seatstay junction for increased service life.
Frame Details
Always prepared: Most Element frames feature an accessory mount underneath the top tube, forward of the shock. Giving riders even more options to bring what's needed for everything from racing to deep backcountry missions.*
Fully enclosed internal routing: Allows for easy cable and hose installations, with consideration for moto-style brake setups.
Double the fun: Most sizes feature two lower bottle mounts capable of carrying full-sized water bottles, so you’ll be ready for anything.
* Accessory and water bottle mounts vary based on frame size:
- XS = 1x 650ml bottle
- SM = 650ml + x Fidlock 450ml bottles
- MD - XL = 2x 770ml bottles
